Lawyer
Description
This role is for a Lawyer within a fast-growing business group. The position involves providing comprehensive legal support for investment transactions, corporate structuring, and contractual work, with a focus on fintech and high-risk industries. The successful candidate will be part of a multicultural team of top professionals and will contribute to the company's trend-setting initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for investment transactions, including drafting and reviewing related documentation.
- Develop and maintain international corporate structures (holdings, SPVs, multi-jurisdictional setups).
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts in English.
- Participate in fintech, payment solutions, and other high-risk projects.
- Assess legal and regulatory risks and develop practical solutions.
- Liaise with external legal and tax advisors.
- Communicate with banks, payment providers, and regulatory authorities.
- Support data protection / GDPR matters across investment, fintech, and payment-related projects.
- Assess privacy risks and draft/review DPAs, privacy notices, data processing clauses, and other personal data-related documentation.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate law, investments, or financial projects. (required)
- Strong experience in corporate structuring and transaction support. (required)
- Understanding of tax aspects (at least at the structuring level and interaction with advisors). (required)
- Understanding of data protection / GDPR requirements at the level of project structuring, contractual work and interaction with external advisors. (required)
- Experience working with multiple international jurisdictions. (required)
- Practical experience in fintech, crypto, payments, or other high-risk industries. (required)
- English proficiency at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) or higher, both written and spoken, for daily professional use. (required)
- In-house experience in investment or fintech companies. (preferred)
- Experience launching or supporting payment or crypto projects. (preferred)
- Understanding of fintech and financial services regulation. (preferred)
- Experience with licensing and compliance (AML/KYC). (preferred)
- Experience working with funds, VC, or private equity. (preferred)
- Practical experience with GDPR / data protection compliance, including DPAs, privacy policies, and cross-border data transfers. (preferred)
- High professional ethics and integrity. (required)
- Accuracy and attention to detail in managing legal documentation and compliance. (required)
- Strong collaboration skills, especially with finance, HR, and compliance teams. (required)
