Marketing Research Specialist
The Marketing Research Specialist will play a key role in supporting marketing strategy and business decisions through comprehensive research and data analysis. This position involves monitoring industry trends, evaluating competitor positioning, and providing actionable insights to various internal teams. The role requires a structured approach to managing multiple research projects and maintaining accurate documentation to support the company's growth.
- Conduct market, competitor, and audience research to support marketing strategy and business decisions.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
- Prepare clear, structured research reports and datasets with actionable insights.
- Support product, marketing, and business teams with ad hoc research requests.
- Identify new opportunities, risks, and gaps in the market.
- Evaluate competitors’ positioning, messaging, and channels.
- Maintain organized research databases, trackers, and documentation.
- Report to Team Lead of Marketing Researchers.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing research, market intelligence, business research, or a related field (required).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into practical insights (required).
- Experience with desk research, competitive analysis, and audience profiling (required).
- Ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative information (required).
- Attention to detail and a structured approach to research tasks (required).
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines (required).
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Similarweb, Ahrefs, Statista, Meta Ad Library (required).
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher (required).
- Russian proficiency at C1 level or higher (required).
- Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, paid media, or lead generation (nice-to-have).
- Experience in international markets (nice-to-have).
- A degree in Marketing, Sociology, or Data Analytics (nice-to-have).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities (required).
