Responsibilities
- Test design
- Testing new functionality
- Performing regression testing
- Creating and maintaining bug reports throughout their lifecycle
- Writing and maintaining test documentation
- Contributing to automation coverage and maintenance
- Collaborating with the team throughout all development stages
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance (required)
- Understanding of QA processes as part of the software development life cycle, including planning, test design, functional testing, regression testing, and defect tracking (required)
- Experience in applying test design techniques (required)
- Ability to produce and maintain high-quality test documentation (test plans, test cases) (required)
- Good understanding of client-server architecture (required)
- Proven experience in API testing (REST, event-driven systems) (required)
- Experience in identifying, analysing, investigating, and addressing client-server issues (required)
- Confident working with test management tools such as Xray or TestRail (required)
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia (required)
- Experience in cross-browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and cross-platform testing (Android, iOS, Windows, macOS) (required)
- Basic knowledge of Python and Playwright for API and UI test scripts (required)
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence (required)
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate quality risks (required)
- Startup experience (nice-to-have)
