Description
The QAE role involves managing quality assurance processes as part of the software development life cycle, including planning, test design, functional testing, regression testing, and defect tracking. The successful candidate will work within a multicultural team of top professionals in Development, Architecture, Management, Operations, Marketing, Legal, Finance and more. Responsibilities
- Understanding of QA processes as part of the software development life cycle, including planning, test design, functional testing, regression testing, and defect tracking
- Experience in applying test design techniques
- Experience in writing test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists)
- Good understanding of client-server architecture
- Experience in identifying, analysing, investigating, and addressing client-server issues with the appropriate team
- Confident working with test management tools such as Xray or TestRail
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia
- Experience in cross-browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and cross-platform testing (Android, iOS, Windows, macOS)
- Basic knowledge of Python and Playwright for API and UI test scripts
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working with iOS and Android
- Test design
- Testing new functionality
- Performing regression testing
- Creating and maintaining bug reports throughout their lifecycle
- Writing and maintaining test documentation
- Contributing to automation coverage and maintenance
- Collaborating with the team throughout all development stages
