Software Engineer (Frontend)
Pin-Up Global is seeking a Software Engineer (Frontend) to join their team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable frontend services using modern web frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
The successful candidate will participate in technical discussions to solve complex challenges and focus on optimising application performance, scalability, and security. The position requires a professional who is committed to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in accordance with established coding standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend services using modern web frameworks.
- Take part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following coding standards.
- 5+ years in frontend engineering (required).
- 2+ years with 2D JavaScript Framework experience (Pixi.JS, Phaser, or similar) (required).
- Expert in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, responsive layouts, and component-driven architecture (required).
- Familiar and can apply TDD/BDD like practices (required).
- Performance optimization (change detection, lazy loading, bundle splitting) (required).
- API integration: REST, WebSockets; robust error/edge-case handling (required).
- CI/CD familiarity; feature flags, environment config, release hygiene (required).
- Security basics (OWASP for web), auth flows (OAuth/OIDC/JWT) (required).
- Strong communication, code review and mentoring skills; Product-oriented mindset (required).
