Software Engineer (GO)
Description
This role is for a Software Engineer specializing in GO, focusing on implementing scalable and reliable software solutions. The engineer will be responsible for writing high-performance, testable, and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and integrating third-party services. The position is within a fast-growing business group, offering the opportunity to work with a multicultural team of top professionals.
Responsibilities
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
- Integrate renowned third-party services
- Write high-performance, testable and maintainable code to implement new functionality
- Take part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues
Requirements
- Time management and organisational skills
- Ability to implement scalable and reliable software solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of Golang
- Git, GitLab, GitLab CI
- Experience with multiple databases (mongodb, clickhouse, postgres, redis)
- REST/RPC transports
- Practical knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with micro-services design and development
- Understanding Twelve-Factor App methodology and Cloud Events
- Working with cloud services GCP/AWS, GitOps, Terraform, Helm/Argocd, Grafana/Tempo/Loki + Prometheus
- High load systems
- Knowledge of working with message brokers (eg. NATS)
- Strong analytical skills and are an open-minded and creative team player, ability to self-study and thirst for knowledge
