Software Engineer (GO)
Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer with Go experience to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing scalable and reliable software solutions, integrating third-party services, and contributing to a collaborative engineering culture. You will be responsible for writing high-performance, testable, and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and proposing technical improvements.
Responsibilities
- Write high-performance, testable, and maintainable code to implement new functionality
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
- Integrate third-party services
- Share knowledge with the team and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
- Propose and implement technical improvements
- Keep documentation and technical context up to date where needed
Requirements
- Development experience with Go 2+ years
- Ability to design and implement scalable and reliable software solutions
- Understanding of event-driven architecture
- Understanding of Twelve-Factor App methodology
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Familiarity with Git, GitLab, GitLab CI, pull request workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Docker and containerized development
- Time management and organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills
- English: Intermediate or higher
- Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts
- Understanding of CloudEvents and event-driven integration patterns
- Experience working with cloud services such as GCP or AWS
- Familiarity with GitOps practices
- Ownership and ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate closely with the team and share knowledge openly
- Openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
