Software Engineer (GO)
Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer with Go experience to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining seamless payment integrations, participating in code reviews, analyzing third-party APIs, and writing high-performance, testable, and maintainable code. You will also take part in technical discussions to solve challenging issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain seamless payment integrations (gateways, processing services, and financial APIs)
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
- Analyze 3rd party API and use it to implement new integrations
- Write high-performance, testable, and maintainable code to implement new functionality
- Take part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Go for 3+ years
- Experience with multiple databases (SQL, Redis, etc.) and messaging services (NATS, etc.)
- GitLab, GitLab CI
- Experience with REST/RPC transports
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with micro-services design and development
- Experience with software engineering best practices: unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation
- Understanding the development and implementation of scalable and reliable software solutions
- Problem-solving skills
- English level: Intermediate or above
- Understanding of event-driven architecture
- Understanding of Twelve-Factor App methodology
- GitOps
- Grafana/Tempo/Loki/OTEL + Prometheus
- High load systems
- Strong adaptability, responsibility, and self-organization in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive engagement with stakeholders to clarify requirements and payment flows
- Excellent collaboration and mentoring skills to enhance team technical growth
- Analytical problem-solving mindset focused on the reliability and security of financial systems
