Software Engineer (GO)
Description
The Software Engineer (GO) role involves working within a fast-growing product holding to implement scalable and reliable software solutions. The successful candidate will focus on micro-services design and development, ensuring high performance and maintainability of code while collaborating with a multicultural team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
- Integrate renowned third-party services.
- Write high-performance, testable and maintainable code to implement new functionality.
- Take part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues.
Requirements
- Time management and organisational skills (required).
- Ability to implement scalable and reliable software solutions (required).
- Excellent problem-solving skills (required).
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of Golang (required).
- Git, GitLab, GitLab CI (required).
- Experience with multiple databases (mongodb, clickhouse, postgres, redis) (required).
- REST/RPC transports (required).
- Practical knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) (required).
- Experience with micro-services design and development (required).
- Understanding Twelve-Factor App methodology and Cloud Events (required).
- Working with cloud services GCP/AWS, GitOps, Terraform, Helm/Argocd, Grafana/Tempo/Loki + Prometheus (required).
- High load systems (required).
- Knowledge of working with message brokers (eg. NATS) (required).
- Strong analytical skills and are an open-minded and creative team player, ability to self-study and thirst for knowledge (required).
