Team Leader (VoIP)
This role is for a Team Leader focused on VoIP technologies. The position involves leading a team, ensuring the stable operation and development of VoIP infrastructure, and improving automation processes. The Team Leader will be responsible for project delivery, team motivation, and removing impediments to smooth team operations.
- Development, support, and maintenance of the VoIP infrastructure
- Planning and expansion of VoIP infrastructure
- Ensuring stable operation of VoIP infrastructure and other systems(CRM, etc)
- Improving current and implementing new VoIP infrastructure automation processes
- Active involvement in the development of speech recognition systems and automated customer calling systems
- Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of relevant projects
- Leading and motivating VoIP team
- Set and monitor the team’s goal
- Removing technical and organizational impediments to ensure smooth team delivery
- Ensuring that the Team adheres to the company’s practices, rules, and procedures
- Troubleshooting and proactive prevention of VoIP infrastructure incidents
- At least 2 years of managing a team of 4+ people (required)
- Strong leadership and communication skills (required)

- Ability to utilize delivery metrics to improve team predictability and efficiency (required)
- Experience in driving architectural discussions and ensuring high standards of the product being developed (required)
- At least 5 years of background working with Asterisk (required)
- Expert-level Dial-Plan coding (required)
- Deep integration experience with AMI/ARI (required)
- Practical knowledge of Asterisk Realtime Architecture (ARA) (required)
- Advanced knowledge of the SIP, RTP/SRTP, STUN, ICE, and WebRTC protocols (required)
- Expert knowledge of the SIP protocol, purpose, and sequence of packets, and ability to debug it (required)
- Proficiency in querying and optimizing MySQL/PostgreSQL databases (required)
- Experience in designing scalable and high-availability VoIP architectures (required)
- Experience with VoIP monitoring and alerting (Homer, Prometheus) (required)
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid experience with Ansible, Terraform to automate Asterisk deployment and configuration management (required)
- Strong experience with Linux systems (CentOS/Debian) (required)
- Deep understanding of network features, specifically NAT traversal, Firewalls, and QoS (required)
- Experience with Bash/Python/PHP/Perl scripting (required)
- Experience in creating reports for contact center analytics (preferred)
- Experience with Enterprise solutions for contact centers (UCCE/UCCX/Genesys etc.) (preferred)
- Participation in the development of automatic dialing systems (preferred)
