Translation Manager Junior

Description

This role involves coordinating and processing translation requests from product, content teams, and other departments, ensuring effective interaction with request initiators and managing tasks in Jira (if needed), as well as monitoring deadline compliance. You will be responsible for organising the process of preparing documents and spreadsheets for translation, including their creation, distribution to AI-platform or translators, and maintaining effective communication with them. Additionally, you will handle prompt handling of urgent edits from content, CS, and CRM teams within marketing tasks for multi-geo markets, including coordination of communication and change control. You will also be responsible for calculating translation volumes (character count), calculating translators' fees, setting up and monitoring payment tasks. Providing operational support to copywriters, proofreaders, and translators during the workflow, including handling inquiries about tasks, document access, deadlines, and other organizational issues. Agreeing on the wording for promotion names, tournaments, and UI elements (including checkboxes) with regional managers.

Requirements
  • Experience in translation/project management, localization, or content operations (required)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional processes and manage multiple priorities (required)
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and spreadsheets (required)
  • Understanding of localization workflows, translation QA processes, glossaries, and terminology management (required)
  • Interest in AI tools and willingness to work with machine translation, prompt optimization, and AI-driven localization workflows (required)
  • Ability to work with large volumes of content, deadlines, and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment (required)
  • English level Upper-Intermediate or higher (required)
  • Experience in iGaming, betting, casino, or multilingual product environments (preferred)
  • Experience working with AI translation platforms and evaluating machine translation quality (preferred)
  • Experience coordinating freelance translators or native-speaking reviewers (preferred)
  • Understanding of UI/UX localization specifics and marketing content adaptation (preferred)
