Description

Playtech’s Ash Studio is looking for a proactive Animator with strong 2D animation skills and a creative mindset to bring engaging game experiences to life. You will create high-quality 2D animations for slot and casino games. Produce animated game previews, promo videos, teasers, and in-game assets. Work closely with Game Producers to understand and follow the product vision. Prepare and optimize graphical assets for animation and game integration. Collaborate with developers, artists, and designers to ensure smooth implementation. Present animation concepts and iterations for feedback and approval. Suggest creative and technical solutions to improve visual quality and performance. Adjust and refine animations based on feedback, technical constraints, or feature updates.

Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality 2D animations for slot and casino games.
  • Produce animated game previews, promo videos, teasers, and in-game assets.

Requirements
  • Have 2+ years of experience as a 2D animator, ideally using Spine.
  • Are confident working with Spine and Adobe After Effects (including plugins).
  • Have a solid understanding of animation principles and visual storytelling.
  • Are comfortable working with modern tools, including AI-assisted asset creation.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate well with cross-functional teams.
  • Can manage multiple tasks and deliver within tight timelines.
  • Bring creativity, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in the gaming industry.
  • Strong 2D drawing or artistic background.
  • Understanding of game development pipelines, UI integration, and engines.
  • Experience with scripting, asset optimization, or additional animation tools.
