Business Project Manager

Description

Playtech‘s Joint Venture and USA unit in Sofia, Bulgaria - Tartu / Tallin, Estonia, is looking for a driven Business Project Manager that will lead and manage customer-facing business projects across multiple regulated markets, with a strong focus on PMO practices, project governance, and structured delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Support PMO and project governance routines, including project kick‑offs, internal checkpoints, and post‑project reviews to ensure lessons learned are captured.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality of project data across project management tools such as Jira, Monday, and Confluence.
  • Work closely with VP Project Managers and PMO leadership to support improvements in delivery processes and ways of working.
  • Create and maintain structured project plans and timelines, coordinating effectively with internal delivery teams, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide clear, structured communication and regular status updates throughout the project lifecycle to ensure visibility and alignment.
  • Represent Playtech professionally in external interactions, demonstrating ownership, accountability, and responsibility for project delivery.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date project documentation and reporting, including project plans, RAID logs, and status reports.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, and key delivery metrics, proactively identifying and escalating risks when required.
Requirements
  • Have at least 2+ years of experience managing or coordinating IT projects, preferably in an international, customer-facing environment.
  • Have experience working with MS Office and project management tools such as Monday and Jira.
  • Communicate fluently and confidently in English, both written and spoken.
  • Have previous exposure to online gaming, software product development, or regulated markets (considered a strong advantage).
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, giving stakeholders trust in your handling of timelines, challenges, and expectations.
  • Have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, with the ability to follow through on commitments.
  • Are highly organized by nature, with strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Can see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Remain calm and solution-oriented, even when handling multiple projects or working under pressure.
