Description

We are looking for a Commercial Manager within our Italian-facing commercial organisation. If you’re passionate about revenue growth, building strong client partnerships, and coaching people to reach their potential, this role is made for you. You will play a key part in shaping commercial strategy across a diverse licensee portfolio, driving performance, and ensuring Playtech continues to stand out as a market leader in the online gaming industry.

Responsibilities
  • Own the commercial performance of your team’s licensee portfolio and drive revenue growth through data insights, strategic planning and strong relationship management.
  • Build trusted, long-standing relationships with senior stakeholders within assigned licensees.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams — Product, BI, Compliance, Operations and others — to resolve issues, drive improvements and ensure smooth delivery of Playtech solutions.
  • Analyse licensee data using BI tools, identify trends, uncover growth opportunities and present clear insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the online gaming market, especially regarding Casino, Live Casino, Poker and Bingo, and stay updated on competitor landscape and content trends.
  • Identify commercial opportunities, propose upsell initiatives and proactively drive adoption of Playtech products and services.
  • Lead process improvements within the team and wider business, taking ownership of cross-functional projects when needed.
  • Oversee travel & expense approvals, holiday planning and other operational responsibilities.
  • Ensure internal strategies set by the Senior Commercial Director are clearly communicated and effectively executed by your team.
Requirements
  • Bring solid experience in B2B Account Management within the Online Gaming industry (required).
  • Have previous experience managing at least one resource (required).
  • Are highly motivated by commercial results and have a proven track record of driving revenue growth (required).
  • Communicate exceptionally well and can adapt your style to different personalities — both internally and externally (required).
  • Are analytical, structured and comfortable working with BI tools, identifying insights and presenting them confidently (required).
  • Have strong knowledge of the online gaming space, including products, trends, and the competitor landscape (required).
  • Are organised, able to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment (required).
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and relationship-building skills (required).
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities rooted in collaboration, motivation and a genuine passion for people’s growth (required).
  • Are fluent in Italian and English at business level (required).
  • Knowledge of the Italian market or experience working with Italian licensees (nice-to-have).
  • Additional language skills — especially German, French (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with IMS or other online gaming platform back offices (nice-to-have).
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, particularly in presenting performance results and industry insights (nice-to-have).
