Game Artist

Description

Playtech's Origins studio is looking for a creative Game Artist with an exciting portfolio and excellent communication skills to join their team. This role involves creating artwork for industry-leading games that will be seen by tens of thousands of players daily. The artist will be part of a team focused on creating visually appealing content and will play a key role in the game creation process.

Responsibilities
  • Create art in different styles, from realistic to cartoon
  • Create game logos and marketing related materials for games/products, such as icons, banners, posters etc…
  • Create and deliver high quality 2D assets and animation files, understanding platform specifications and requirements
  • Create the necessary game/product previews
  • Have active involvement in the game creation process by interacting with the Lead Artist and Game Producer
  • Meet project deadlines and milestones
Requirements
  • 2-3 years+ industry experience
  • High knowledge of Photoshop
  • A good portfolio, understanding of digital/traditional and Graphic art techniques
  • Graphic Design skills/experience (branding/logo design, typography and text layout, marketing banners and icons…)
  • Knowledge of game assets creation, export and optimisation
  • Attention to detail and task specifications/requirements
  • Self-motivation, excellent communication (intermediate level of spoken English required) and organization skills, team spirit, proactivity
  • A positive attitude when taking and giving feedback during game production
  • The ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change for fast-track projects
