IT Operations Tech Support
The IT Operations Tech Support is a hands-on, physical role dedicated to the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of live floor gaming operations. Unlike traditional desktop support, this position focuses on the hardware that powers our live streaming environment, including gaming tables, shuffling machines, video capture equipment, and server connectivity.
- Perform preventative maintenance and rapid repairs on live gaming floor equipment, including automated shuffling machines, gaming tables, and peripheral hardware.
- Install and maintain high-definition video cameras, audio equipment, and video cards to ensure uninterrupted broadcast quality.
- Execute physical installation of data, optical, and network communication systems, including running and managing cabling in on-floor and back-of-house areas.
- Monitor information systems and CDN server connections; diagnose and solve connectivity or hardware issues immediately to minimize floor downtime.
- Adhere strictly to multi-state Gaming Commission Regulations (NJ/PA/MI) and live unit policies.
- Provide day-to-end user support for onsite staff regarding hardware functionality and software troubleshooting.
- Document all maintenance activities, hardware stocktaking, and technical incidents for management review.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Associate degree (Preferred) and/or equivalent technical/vocational training.
- 1+ years of experience in a technical field (e.g., Field Technician, Maintenance Tech, or IT Hardware Support).
- Experience with casino equipment is a plus.
- Proficiency in Windows OS troubleshooting and basic networking; ability to use IT technical terminology accurately.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a New Jersey Gaming License and West Virginia Casino Employee Registration.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 live operations.
- Frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl to access equipment located under tables or behind server racks.
- Regularly lift and move objects up to 50 lbs; occasionally move items up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Frequent use of hands and tools for grasping, manipulating small components, and cabling.
- Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
