IT Technical Support Specialist

Description

To be main contact point of contact for any technical issues; Installation, administration and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops and servers running Windows OS and Linux; Installation of professional studio equipment: cameras, lighting and audio; Troubleshoot hardware and resolve technical issues with OS, MS Office, e-mail, network, etc.; Full Windows OS setup, including drivers, BIOS and other related software; 24/7 monitoring of healthy functioning of all systems.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for any technical issues.
  • Perform installation, administration and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops and servers running Windows OS and Linux.
  • Install professional studio equipment including cameras, lighting and audio.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and resolve technical issues with OS, MS Office, e-mail and network.
  • Execute full Windows OS setup, including drivers, BIOS and other related software.
  • Conduct 24/7 monitoring of healthy functioning of all systems.
Requirements
  • Previous proven experience in the delivery of IT support services (required).
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a positive outlook (required).
  • Good English knowledge (at least B2 level) (required).
  • Good Windows OS skills - diagnosing network issues, installations, config and remote support, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, MS Office 365 (required).
  • Networking knowledge is an advantage (nice-to-have).
  • Strong experience of problem solving, troubleshooting and fault-finding software applications issues (required).
  • Excellent documentation and knowledge sharing skills (required).
  • Able to translate technology into simple terms (required).
  • Flexibility to work in shifts is required, including night shifts and overtime, when needed (required).
