Junior Front End Game Developer

Playtech's Casino unit is looking for a proactive Junior Front End Game Developer with great communication skills. You will develop and support frontend parts of casino games using our internal framework (TypeScript + Pixi.js + GSAP). You will learn and work with an internal game framework built in TypeScript, implement animations, UI interactions, and game logic, and write robust and maintainable code. You will collaborate closely with international teams (Ukraine, Estonia, Israel, Bulgaria) and proactively contribute ideas to improve framework and development processes. The new games will be dedicated for the Florida market, offering a unique opportunity to work on high-impact international project.

• Develop and support frontend parts of casino games using our internal framework (TypeScript + Pixi.js + GSAP).
• Learn and work with an internal game framework built in TypeScript.
• Implement animations, UI interactions, and game logic.
• Write robust and maintainable code.
• Collaborate closely with international teams (Ukraine, Estonia, Israel, Bulgaria).
• Proactively contribute ideas to improve framework and development processes.

• 1+ year of commercial experience in front-end development (required).
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript (required).
• Understand OOP principles and design patterns (required).
• Can write clean, maintainable, and testable code (required).
• Formal degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field (required).
• Previous background in game development (nice-to-have).
• Experience with Pixi.js or other 2D rendering/game engines (Phaser, Three.js, etc.) (nice-to-have).
• Knowledge of GSAP or similar animation libraries (nice-to-have).
• Experience in Mobile/Web development projects (nice-to-have).
• Familiar with npm, Browserify, Gulp, Lerna Git or other version control systems (nice-to-have).
• Knowledge of Java (nice-to-have).
