Junior QA Engineer
Playtech is looking for a diligent and meticulous Junior QA Engineer to join its international team. The role involves supporting multiple projects and integrations across production and staging environments.
The successful candidate will test mobile and desktop web applications, verify production configurations, and troubleshoot live issues. They will also assist with integrations and UAT processes for new brands, create complex configurations via internal backend systems, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
Responsibilities include reporting and tracking defects in JIRA, maintaining test environments, creating and executing test plans, participating in sprints, and supporting production releases. - Support multiple projects and integrations across production and staging environments.
- Test mobile and desktop web applications (functional and non-functional).
- Verify production configurations and troubleshoot live issues.
- Assist with integrations and UAT processes for new brands.
- Create complex configurations via internal backend systems.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Report and track defects in JIRA and other bug-tracking tools.
- Help maintain test environments (servers, microservices, databases, deployments).

- Practical experience with tools such as TestRail, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Grafana, Cursor AI, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL Developer, Kafka UI, Redis, JIRA, Atlassian, Git, Postman, and Browser DevTools. (required)
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent. (nice-to-have)
- Previous experience in technical support or a similar role. (nice-to-have)
- 1+ years of experience as a QA Engineer. (nice-to-have)
- Practical experience testing web applications. (nice-to-have)
- Hands-on knowledge and practical use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) for prompt crafting, AI-assisted test design, intelligent troubleshooting, and critical validation. (nice-to-have)
