Technical Project Manager

Description

Playtech's Infrastructure Unit is looking for a proactive Technical Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will drive end‑to‑end infrastructure projects that power Playtech’s global infrastructure platform. Your work will directly influence the reliability, scalability and performance of systems serving millions of users.

Responsibilities
  • Lead complex infrastructure projects — from hardware lifecycle and virtualization initiatives to large‑scale upgrades and product‑ready deployments.
  • Plan and manage project scope, timelines, risks and resources across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure architects and technical specialists to ensure clear plans, structured execution and predictable delivery.
  • Work with business and product units to understand requirements and translate them into actionable, technically sound project plans.
  • Maintain visibility and communication for all stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency and high‑quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support teams by leveraging internal tooling and automation during configuration and deployment phases.
Requirements
  • Bring strong end‑to‑end project management experience in infrastructure or complex IT environments.
  • Communicate confidently with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders and can simplify complex information.
  • Are an excellent planner — structured, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Take ownership, work independently and keep projects progressing with clarity and momentum.
  • Understand core infrastructure concepts (servers, networking, storage, virtualization, cloud) and can quickly build competence in new technical areas.
  • Have solid analytical, risk‑management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Previous hands‑on or close-to-technical experience in infrastructure environments (data centres, networking, virtualization, cloud platforms).
  • Experience with large‑scale migrations, capacity upgrades or hardware refresh cycles.
Benefits
  • Working alongside highly skilled engineers and architects on mission‑critical infrastructure powering global products.
  • Autonomy, real influence, and the ability to shape how infrastructure projects are delivered.
  • A diverse, international environment with clear pathways for professional growth.
