Cost Control Specialist
SoftConstruct is on a search for a new player to join our team as a Cost Control Specialist. This role involves reviewing and monitoring tasks, ensuring financial accuracy, and identifying discrepancies. The specialist will work closely with management and relevant departments to resolve any financial inconsistencies.
- Review and monitor all assigned tasks in Jira and Eve on a regular basis.
- Verify that all monetary amounts mentioned in the tasks strictly match the approved cost documented in relevant approvals or financial records.
- Identify and report any discrepancies to the direct manager or responsible department promptly for resolution.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor, which are in line with the job description and do not contradict the labor code.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a cost control, financial analysis, or project management role.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing financial data and task information.
- Experience working with task/project management tools (e.g., Jira, Eve, or similar platforms).
- Basic understanding of cost approval processes and financial documentation.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies and follow up with the appropriate stakeholders.
- Proactive communication skills to report and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Organizational skills to manage and monitor multiple tasks consistently.
