Deputy Head of Interior Designer
SoftConstruct is on a search for a new player to join our team as Deputy Head of Interior Design. This role involves assisting the Head of the Interior Design Department in all aspects of the design process, from project concept development through implementation. You will work independently on various assignments within project timelines, such as selecting materials, ordering samples, generating floor plans, elevations, and high-quality 3D visualizations. Collaboration with team members, the Procurement Department, suppliers, and the construction team is key to ensuring the availability and quality of materials and the accurate implementation of designs. You will also oversee the project realization process, ensuring all stages are completed to the highest standards and within designated timelines, supporting the full design process from initial sketch through production.
- Assist the Head of the Interior Design Department in all aspects of the design process, from project concept development through implementation.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Head of the Interior Design Department upon request.
- Work independently on various assignments within project timelines (selecting materials, ordering samples, generating floor plans, elevations, high-quality 3D visualizations, and other tasks).
- Collaborate closely with team members to complete various assignments.
- Create innovative concepts and detailed designs for various spaces, with a primary focus on commercial spaces.
- Collaborate effectively with the Procurement Department and suppliers to ensure the availability and quality of materials and resources.
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure the accurate implementation of designs.
- Oversee the project realization process, ensuring that all stages are completed to the highest standards and within the designated timelines.
- Support the execution of the full design process, from initial sketch through production.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field. (required)
- At least 5 years of experience in interior design, with a proven record of managing complex projects. (required)
- Proficiency with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max (VRay/Corona) is a must. (required)
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and other relevant design software is considered a plus. (preferred)
- Ability to create high-quality 3D visualizations and a good knowledge of design features. (required)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the team. (required)
- Excellent portfolio displaying a range of previous design projects. (required)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. (required)
- Detail-oriented and goal-oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. (required)
