Payment Systems Specialist
SoftConstruct is on a search for a new player to join our team. This role involves processing domestic and international payment transactions through banking and payment systems, reviewing and maintaining payment-related agreements, and verifying commission fees, service charges, and settlement amounts. The specialist will monitor account balances, payment statuses, and settlement confirmations to ensure operational accuracy.
- Process domestic and international payment transactions through banking and payment systems.
- Review and maintain payment-related agreements, contracts, and supporting documentation.
- Verify commission fees, service charges, and settlement amounts according to contractual terms.
- Monitor account balances, payment statuses, and settlement confirmations to ensure operational accuracy.
- Perform daily reconciliation of payment transactions, balances, and settlement accounts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies related to payments, commissions, and account movements.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing transactions to ensure timely processing and execution.
- Support the preparation of payment reports and transaction summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Communicate with banks, payment service providers (PSP), and internal departments regarding payment-related matters.
- Coordinate documentation and operational processes with counterparties and financial institutions.
- Follow up on transaction issues, rejected payments, and settlement inconsistencies.
- Assist in maintaining operational relationships with payment partners and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, payment regulations, and operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate transaction records, payment documentation, and audit trails.
- Support AML screening, sanctions checks, and payment verification procedures when required.
- Prepare and organize operational documentation related to payment activities and agreements.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labor code.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in payment operations, banking operations, finance, or related field.
- Good understanding of payment systems, banking operations, and payment processing procedures.
- Knowledge of payment-related documentation, agreements, and commission calculation principles.
- Ability to work with payment data, reconciliations, and transaction monitoring processes.
- Good English proficiency for communication and documentation purposes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial/payment operational systems.
