Tournament Auditor
The Tournament Auditor is responsible for ensuring the integrity and transparency of gaming tournaments through rigorous financial and operational oversight. This role involves monitoring tournament processes, verifying data accuracy, and ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations to maintain fair play and operational excellence.
- Audit the organization and financial aspects of gaming tournaments to ensure transparency, fairness, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Review tournament rules, participant eligibility, prize structures, and payout processes.
- Verify the accuracy of tournament entries, scores, leaderboards, and award distributions.
- Monitor live or recorded tournaments to detect irregularities, misconduct, or system errors.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of controls over tournament planning, promotion, and execution.
- Identify risks or gaps in procedures and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and proposed solutions, and present them to management.
- Investigate complaints or discrepancies related to tournament outcomes and participant behavior.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labor code.
- Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration, or a related field. (required)
- At least 2 years of professional experience in auditing, gaming operations, or tournament organization. (required)
- Strong understanding of gaming environments, especially tournament structures and related financial flows. (required)
- Knowledge of internal audit standards and practices. (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software. (required)
- ArmSoft knowledge is preferred. (preferred)
- Ability to analyze data sets, verify outcomes, and assess system-generated reports. (required)
- High attention to detail and critical thinking. (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. (required)
- Ability to work independently and under time pressure. (required)
- Integrity, objectivity, and a problem-solving mindset. (required)
- Fluency in Armenian, with good command of English and Russian (written and verbal). (required)
