Application Support Engineer
The Application Support team work closely with the Operations and Development teams. They support the management, monitoring and troubleshooting of all the companies' production systems. Communication skills, flexibility, and a desire to learn are essential. The ability to work on multiple concurrent priorities while maintaining attention to detail is essential. The team work shift hours, including morning shifts, night shifts, and weekends.
- Monitoring of all production systems and sub-systems
- Incident management, resolution, and escalation of issues on all environments
- Troubleshooting and investigating issues on all applications
- Maintain the documentation set on all applications and systems
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
- Linux shell scripting experience
- Experience of Database, Web and Mobile applications
- A good knowledge of web technologies, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, HTML & React
- A good knowledge of object-orientated programming, Java or Python
- SQL Query skills (MySQL)
- Experience in an Application Support role preferred
- Experience working in a 24*7 production environment
- Experience supporting web, mobile web and mobile applications
- Experience supporting applications in written in PHP, Python, JavaScript and HTML
