Accountant
As an Accountant in the US Management and Statutory Accounts team, you will prepare the periodic management and statutory accounts, alongside developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure accuracy. You will play a pivotal role within the US Management and Statutory Accounts Team, through the preparation of the management accounts and reconciliation of items within the financial statements for our US entities. With the United States being one of our fastest growing markets, this role will require you to be proactive in your approach. Given the dynamic regulatory landscape in the US, you will need to develop your expertise in these jurisdictions to allow for accurate partner reporting within strict deadlines. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals keen on process improvement, collaboration and developing a detailed understanding of financial data. You will work closely with the wider business, conducting in-depth cost review and diligent scrutiny of all data received. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
- Supporting the preparation of periodic management accounts, board pack reporting and ad-hoc financial requests.
- Providing clear and concise commentary for review and stakeholder dissemination.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts for our US entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness for the financial audit.
- Conducting regular balance sheet reconciliations and income statement reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Communicating with senior stakeholders and commercial partners.
- Processing US Fixed Assets and reconciling the asset registers.
- AAT Level 4 or equivalent. (required)
- Effective and professional communicator who can engage with a wide range of financial and non-financial stakeholders. (required)
- Proficient in Excel with an exceptional attention to detail. (required)
