Description

As a Software Developer, you will collaborate with a team of exceptionally skilled professionals dedicated to the development, enhancement and support of our cutting-edge Sports Trading Platform. Working within the trading and tools team, you will develop a diverse range of applications, including desktop solutions, such as WPF & WinForms, backend services such as, .NET & Golang, and SQL Server stored procedures. Your contribution will be vital in delivering real-time data through our innovative trading platform. This will empower the trading department to create, configure and trade both sporting and non-sporting events, enabling customers to place bets on a vast array of outcomes. Our technology stack features C#.NET, SQL Server, and Golang, with in-house training provided to further enhance your skills and this role presents exciting challenges in a hardworking, delivery-focused environment. We are looking for individuals with a diverse range of technical skills who are prepared to address the most pressing challenges in technology and support our growth in emerging markets worldwide. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and supporting highly efficient, robust, and quality code for applications and services.
  • Maintaining clean coding practices.
  • Enhancing and supporting existing trading functions.
  • Supporting Product Owners as needed.
  • Supporting the testing team during project phases.
  • Contributing to innovative solution proposals.
  • Identifying technical areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in Commercial C# and MS SQL Server. (required)
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows applications and Microservices architecture. (required)
  • Experience of WPF is desirable. (preferred)
  • Knowledge or experience of Kafka. (preferred)
  • Knowledge or experience of web or cloud technologies. (preferred)
  • Experience using Git version control. (required)
  • Experience with Linux. (required)
  • Experience with handling data from external providers. (required)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. (required)
  • A strong team player with good problem-solving skills. (required)
