  • Work with the Engineering Managers and Architects to develop a set of Standard Operational Procedures that can be rolled out across the business and to third parties who need to work in our cloud-based environments.
  • Work with the Engineering teams to diagnose and support issues with infrastructure, pipelines or applications.
  • Upgrade and maintain our internal application toolings

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, lean and deadline driven organisation. (required)
  • Able to work under pressure and to ask for support when required (required)
  • Ability to quickly undertake evaluation of competing products to determine which best meets the company’s requirements (required)
  • Enjoys keeping up to date with advances in technologies and how they can be applied to projects (required)
  • Able to automate complex operational and technical processes using industry standard tools (required)
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud environments and typical technology stacks employed in them (required)
  • In-depth understanding of Cloud security issues and solutions (required)
  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and written (required)
  • Someone who is adaptable and able to pick up new techniques (required)
  • iGaming experience: Prior experience in the sports betting or gaming industry is a significant advantage. (preferred)
  • Observability Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, or Splunk. (preferred)
  • FinOps: Understanding of cost management and FinOps concepts within cloud environments. (preferred)
  • Platform as a Product: Experience or familiarity with treating the internal developer platform as a product, focusing on developer experience and feedback loops. (preferred)
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) (preferred)
