Senior Product Designer

Description

As a Senior Product Designer at Betfred, you will play a critical role in shaping user experiences across our betting and gaming products, driving innovation, and championing design excellence. In addition to designing intuitive and engaging solutions, you will actively influence product strategy, mentor Junior Designers, and lead design initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in UX/UI design and a strategic mindset to deliver experiences that delight users and align with business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end design processes for complex projects, from research and ideation to final implementation.
  • Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to contribute to product strategies and roadmaps with a focus on user experience.
  • Conduct and analyse user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
  • Explore competitor products and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Create high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that elevate user experiences.
  • Advocate for the user perspective in cross-functional discussions, ensuring design solutions address customer needs effectively.
  • Mentor Junior Designers, providing feedback and fostering skill development within the team.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure design fidelity during implementation and contribute to refining processes for better outcomes.
  • Contribute to and evolve Betfred’s design system, driving consistency and efficiency across products.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio of impactful projects across various platforms (required).
  • Advanced proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and prototyping tools such as InVision or Axure (required).
  • Strong ability to synthesize user research and data insights into actionable design strategies (required).
  • Expertise in responsive, mobile-first design and accessibility standards (required).
  • Proven ability to lead design projects independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and teams (required).
  • Deep interest in understanding and responding to competitive landscapes and industry trends (required).
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders (required).
  • Any interaction design skills (eg. Animation, transitions, movement) (nice-to-have).
  • User-testing (writing test scripts and experience in using testing tools) (nice-to-have).
  • Other digital design experience is also welcomed i.e Responsive Web, iOS & Android, CMS Back Office etc (nice-to-have).
