Creative Lead
As a Creative Lead on the BetMGM Creative team, you’ll be a driving force behind the concepting, development, and execution of bold, visually striking creative across all major brand and marketing touchpoints. You’ll lead the visual storytelling for national campaigns, performance marketing, and branded content—shaping how millions of sports and gaming fans experience BetMGM. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Creative Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Brand, and Marketing stakeholders to push creative boundaries while maintaining strategic alignment. You’ll also mentor junior creatives, helping to elevate the entire team’s output. This role requires a highly conceptual thinker, a strong leader, and a design expert with a passion for culture, sports, and entertainment.
- Lead visual concept development for integrated campaigns spanning TV, OOH, social, digital, CRM, and experiential activations.
- Own the art direction and creative development process from ideation through final execution—ensuring work is innovative, on-brand, and strategically sound.
- Collaborate closely with Copywriters, Creative Directors, and cross-functional teams to develop and present holistic creative concepts.
- Contribute high-level creative thinking and execution across a wide range of campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives.
- Ensure visual consistency and excellence across all creative outputs while helping evolve the brand’s visual identity.
- Present and articulate creative ideas clearly and confidently to stakeholders and partners.
- Stay up to date on creative trends, pop culture, sports, and emerging technologies to inspire fresh, forward-thinking creative.
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of craft and attention to detail.
- Contribute to the development of brand guidelines, design systems, and creative best practices.
- 4+ years of experience in art direction or senior design leadership roles, preferably at top agencies or within fast-paced, high-profile in-house creative teams.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing a range of award-winning, strategically driven 360° campaigns across branding, advertising, and digital media.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); working knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, and Figma.
- Deep understanding of brand building, visual storytelling, typography, composition, and color theory.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex business goals into creative solutions.
- Excellent leadership and mentorship skills, with experience managing and developing creative talent.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and executive levels.
- Experience with sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brands strongly preferred.
