Marketing Acquisition Analyst

Description

The marketing data analyst will work alongside the broader marketing and BI teams to help identify areas of opportunity to drive business growth. They will support a culture of data driven decision making, provide actionable insights and recommendations as well as identify key opportunities and efficiencies within marketing business. The ideal candidate will be a motivated analytical thinker who thrives in fast pace, collaborative environments to inform key business decisions. They will also need to efficiently manage multiple projects across several different key business priorities within the marketing space. It is vital for this person to feel comfortable interfacing with key internal and external business leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading the development and delivery of actionable insights and analysis in response to key business questions
  • Efficiently manage multiple short- and long-term projects to keep on track with deadlines and continue to push the business forward
  • Support the key Brand and Marketing teams, providing day-to-day reporting and analytics
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders regularly to identify areas of focus within the business
  • Handle both day to day reactive and proactive operational requirements and larger complex projects while being able to meet deadlines
  • Building and maintaining datasets, reports and dashboards
Requirements
  • 2+ years commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence or data science (required)
  • Advanced use and understanding of SQL (required)
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint (required)
  • Experience with a programming language (e.g., Python, R) (required)
  • Experience utilizing viz tools like Power BI and Tableau (Power BI and DAX experience is preferred) (preferred)
  • Experience leading analytical strategies across the commercial business (required)
  • Confident presenting recommendations to key stakeholders extending up to the Senior Leadership level (required)
  • Experience working with large and sometimes incomplete and complex data sets (required)
  • Basic understanding of sports betting in United States (required)
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of the media landscape, common marketing platforms, and online & offline marketing data and marketing analytics (required)
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of marketing attribution models (required)
  • Basic understanding of Marketing Mix Modelling (required)
  • Business standard use of the English language (required)
