Bank Account Administrator
As our Banking Administrator, you’ll play a key part in delivering a world‑class corporate administrative function, getting hands-on with managing bank account admin, corporate credit cards, banking products and relationships with financial institutions. - The role is responsible for opening and closing bank accounts with both existing and new financial institutions for all applicable entities across the group.
- It includes opening and closing currency accounts with the group’s current financial institutions.
- The incumbent maintains the complete bank account listing for the entire group.
- They maintain and justify the Restricted Cash listing on an ongoing basis.
- They are responsible for maintaining accurate signatory listings across the group.
- They ensure that all individuals’ online banking access and functionality are properly maintained across the group.
- The role requires ensuring that all Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements are kept up to date with financial institutions.
- The individual ensures full SOX and audit compliance relating to all bank accounts.
- They manage the group’s relationships with financial institutions.
- They complete the month‑end upload of relevant bank account documentation and SOX reviews.
- The role includes maintaining a well‑organised filing system for all bank‑account‑related documentation.
- They are responsible for exploring new financial products that may add value to the business.
- They ensure that all bank accounts are active, properly recorded, and accurately reflected in the financial system.
- The role ensures that all relevant accounts are correctly mapped and available in all reporting tools.
- They communicate all newly opened or closed bank accounts to the appropriate stakeholders.
- They ensure that all bank account changes are accurately recorded on the Treasury Management System (TMS).
- The individual manages relationships with external compliance and fiduciary institutions and assists in resolving any related queries.
- They manage the corporate credit card process and ensure full adherence to company policy.
- The role may include participation in ad hoc projects as required.
- Tertiary qualification in banking, finance or admin (required)
- 3 years’ experience in a banking and treasury environment (required)
- Experience in administering online banking and treasury management tools (required)
- Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas (required)
- A collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross‑functional teams to hit shared goals (required)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball (required)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality work (required)
