Procurement Specialist

Description

The Procurement Specialist supports the Procurement Manager and the wider business by ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services, maintaining inventory controls, coordinating supplier communications, and providing administrative support to procurement activities. The role works closely with internal departments to understand operational requirements and helps ensure that purchasing processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for goods and services.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals based on quality, price, delivery, and service levels.
  • Negotiate pricing and payment terms.
  • Raise and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
  • Follow up on deliveries, send supplier reminders, and maintain supplier communication.
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming goods.
  • Manage and maintain the company store(s) and inventory by maintaining accurate records of stock movements and purchases.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with relevant departments.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers to improve competitiveness and reduce supply risks.
  • Resolve supplier related issues and discrepancies promptly.
  • Support Procurement Manager with conducting supplier performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, pricing, and service.
  • Support Procurement Manager with budgeting processes by providing procurement forecasts.
  • Work closely with operational departments to understand purchasing requirements. Support departments in sourcing products and services that meet operational needs.
  • Provide updates on order status, stock availability, and expected deliveries.
  • Assist with obtaining urgent purchases required for business operations.
  • Maintain updated master data within the company ERP system.
  • Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, legal regulations and ethical procurement practices.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in administration, procurement or supplier management ideally withing IGaming Industry or Live Casino Studios (required)
  • Candidates must be fluent in English, both written and spoken (required)
  • Knowledge of Maltese is considered an advantage; however, it is not a mandatory requirement for the role (nice-to-have)
