Senior Finance Manager
The Senior Finance Manager will take a leading role in overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring robust financial governance, and delivering high-quality reporting to support strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Finance Controller, this role requires a proactive and hands-on leader who can drive financial excellence, strengthen internal controls, and enhance financial processes across the organisation. The Senior Finance Manager will act as a key bridge between operational finance and senior leadership, contributing to the financial strategy while maintaining strong oversight of day-to-day activities.
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a high-performance culture and continuous professional growth.
- Oversee all core accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations, ensuring efficiency and control.
- Take ownership of cash flow management, including forecasting, liquidity planning, and optimization of working capital.
- Strengthen and monitor internal control frameworks to ensure the integrity of financial data and safeguard company assets.
- Assist with the preparation of external audits, ensuring timely delivery and full compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems, reporting, and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Support senior stakeholders with financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to guide decision-making.
- Undertake additional duties, projects, and strategic initiatives as required by the Finance Controller or senior management, adapting to evolving business needs and priorities.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into strategic insights.
- Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high-quality output.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
