Audio Specialist
The Audio Specialist oversees project builds and provides ongoing audio support for our studios' gaming floor environments.
- Maintain and configure our studio audio infrastructure, including audio encoders, microphones, and analog and digital rack equipment, while continuously refining our build processes and planning resources accordingly.
- Organize and schedule audio equipment maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Procure necessary equipment, tools, and materials by submitting timely requests and managing vendor relationships.
- Prepare and deliver reports as needed, keeping the MCR and other departments informed with relevant project updates and technical information.
- Coordinate tasks and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Track project timelines and milestones to keep all stakeholders aligned on progress and deliverables.
- Experience working with analog and digital audio sources, associated mixer hardware, and other rack-mounted audio equipment.
- Experience with cable organization, management, and labeling.
- Experience working in commercial or industrial workspaces where construction may be taking place.
- Good command of English.
- Willingness to travel sporadically for training or to support other locations, including internationally.
- Availability for on-call rotation to provide after-hours and emergency support.
- Ability to work flexibly and meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with audio converter hardware.
- Ability to create and terminate SDI and XLR cables.
- Experience with DANTE audio systems.
- Experience with wiring and cabling of electrical and electronic components, including soldering and splicing.
