Audio/Visual Specialist

Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Audio/Visual Specialist to join our team in Grand Rapids, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and operation of audio/visual systems that support our organization's events, presentations, and corporate communications. You will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure seamless AV experiences while maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain audio/visual equipment and systems, including projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, and control systems
  • Operate and manage AV equipment during corporate events, conferences, presentations, and meetings
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide prompt solutions to ensure minimal downtime
  • Conduct pre-event testing and quality checks to verify all AV systems are functioning properly
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to understand AV requirements and deliver customized solutions
  • Maintain organized inventory records and documentation of all AV equipment, software licenses, and system configurations
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on AV equipment operation
  • Stay current with emerging audio/visual technologies and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize AV setups and enhance overall user experience
Requirements
  • Proven experience operating and troubleshooting audio/visual equipment and systems
  • Strong technical knowledge of AV platforms, control systems, and presentation technology
  • Proficiency with audio/visual software and equipment from major manufacturers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to lift and move equipment safely and work in various environments
  • Certification in audio/visual systems or related technical field
  • Experience in corporate events, conference management, or presentation technology environments
  • Experience with specific AV control systems or software platforms
  • Project management experience or background in coordinating technical installations
