Sound Designer

Description

As a Music Composer/Sound Designer, you shape the entire game from the ground up. Your music sets the tone, defines the atmosphere, and guides the player’s emotional journey. Responsibilities
  • Compose and arrange original music that supports the theme and atmosphere of the game.
  • Create sound effects that enhance gameplay, improve event readability, and capture the player’s attention.
  • Collaborate closely with artists, programmers, and game designers to achieve a cohesive audio-visual concept.
  • Prepare and deliver audio assets, ensuring their correct implementation in the game.
  • Mix, master, and adapt audio for various game platforms and devices.
  • Work effectively when project style, scope, or deadlines change.
  • Propose creative solutions to improve the overall player experience.
Requirements
  • Education in music, audio engineering, or a related audio field is a must. (required)
  • Basic knowledge of music theory and the ability to play at least one musical instrument. (required)
  • Proficiency with DAWs (Reaper, Cubase, etc.). (required)
  • Familiarity with standard VST libraries. (required)
  • Experience in recording, editing, and mixing audio. (required)
  • Ability to work with MIDI and develop musical ideas using a MIDI keyboard. (required)
  • Ability to compose and design audio quickly across different genres and styles. (required)
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback. (required)
