Responsibilities
- Compose and arrange original music that supports the theme and atmosphere of the game.
- Create sound effects that enhance gameplay, improve event readability, and capture the player’s attention.
- Collaborate closely with artists, programmers, and game designers to achieve a cohesive audio-visual concept.
- Prepare and deliver audio assets, ensuring their correct implementation in the game.
- Mix, master, and adapt audio for various game platforms and devices.
- Work effectively when project style, scope, or deadlines change.
- Propose creative solutions to improve the overall player experience.
Requirements
- Education in music, audio engineering, or a related audio field is a must. (required)
- Basic knowledge of music theory and the ability to play at least one musical instrument. (required)
- Proficiency with DAWs (Reaper, Cubase, etc.). (required)
- Familiarity with standard VST libraries. (required)
- Experience in recording, editing, and mixing audio. (required)
- Ability to work with MIDI and develop musical ideas using a MIDI keyboard. (required)
- Ability to compose and design audio quickly across different genres and styles. (required)
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback. (required)
