Lead Product Manager, FanDuel Labs
FanDuel is looking for a Lead Product Manager to focus on emerging opportunities and technologies within sportsbook – researching, prototyping, and experimenting on complex topics such as conversational AI, social betting, and new betting experiences. If you're a strong product leader with an interest in playing a critical role on projects with the potential to disrupt the sports betting industry and create long-term competitive advantage for FanDuel, this may be the role for you. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
- Own the product vision and roadmap for FanDuel Labs, a portfolio of experimental sportsbook experiences, defining which opportunities to explore, why they matter, and how they ladder into broader company strategy and commercial outcomes
- Establish best-in-class experimentation practices, defining success metrics, guardrails, and frameworks that enable fast iteration while maintaining product quality and user trust, including the discipline to kill experiments that aren't working
- Balance speed and rigor in 0→1 product development, shipping quickly with feature flags and iterative releases while ensuring experiences meet a high bar for usability, reliability, and compliance
- Directly manage and develop a team of Product Managers, providing coaching, prioritization guidance, and career development while maintaining close hands-on involvement in product execution
- Navigate platform and dependency complexity, partnering closely with platform teams to unlock new capabilities, influence platform investments, and manage tradeoffs across shared infrastructure
- Partner with GTM teams to drive awareness, adoption, and iteration on positioning for new experimental experiences
- Translate ambiguous opportunities into actionable plans, leading cross-functional alignment across design, engineering, data, and business stakeholders
- Communicate strategy, progress, and learnings clearly to senior stakeholders, including articulating tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations with strong executive presence
- Navigate regulatory and legal complexity as a core part of product design, not just a guardrail, ensuring new experiences can scale compliantly across jurisdictions
- Continuously scan the market and competitive landscape, identifying emerging trends in consumer products, gaming, and adjacent industries to inform strategy
- 6+ years of product management experience, with significant ownership over product strategy and roadmap for a complex or ambiguous domain
- Proven track record of building and scaling 0→1 or highly experimental consumer products, ideally in gaming, sports, or other engagement-driven environments
- Deep fluency in modern AI tools, using them actively for research synthesis, prototyping, PRD drafting, experiment design, data analysis, and insight generation; this is a requirement, not a nice-to-have
- Demonstrated ability to make high-conviction bets with incomplete information, balancing analytical rigor with the speed and judgment required in early-stage product work
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer products, with an understanding of how to position and launch new or experimental experiences to drive adoption
- Deep expertise in experimentation and A/B testing, including defining success criteria and making high-quality decisions from imperfect data
- Comfortable operating in high-ambiguity, fast-moving environments with evolving strategy, unclear problem spaces, and competing priorities
- Strong analytical skills; highly fluent in data tools, with the ability to independently derive insights and guide decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners
- medical, vision, and dental insurance
- life insurance
- disability insurance
- a 401(k) matching program
- paid personal time off
- 14 paid company holidays
- paid sick time
- annual bonus and long-term incentive opportunities (based on performance)
- commuter benefits
- pet insurance
