Senior Marketing Insight Analyst
The Senior Marketing Insight Analyst will be responsible for designing and delivering marketing measurement and insights solutions. Working closely with teams such as ad tech, paid media and engagement, the role will be responsible for providing insight across of brand marketing investments, from brand tracking, share of search and through econometrics. Reporting to the Marketing Insights lead, the role will join a team of analysts focused on supporting the SEU Growth strategy to identify marketing investment opportunities, challenges and recommendations. Overseeing the application of data modelling, the role will support teams’ ability to perform A/B tests, understand ROI & customer journeys. The role will include scoping solutions to integrate econometrics allowing media teams to understand the longer-term ROI of investments in brand media and performance. It will also oversee the development of brand tracking for our Casino, Poker and Sports products, working closely with partners to integrate brand data into wider performance reporting, to ultimately support investment recommendations and decisions. The senior insights will take ownership for managing analytics solutions and products as well as managing relevant agencies & partners who provide and support with key data and insights. Such partners include Google who provide share of search data which the role will use to build a view of wider market trends and competitor insights. The role will also support the Engagement and Content team with tools such as Sprinklr to ensure they are able to accurately set clear objectives and KPIs for their channels based on the impact of organic social and content on brand and search trends. A key part of the role will be the communication of insight to stakeholders and decision makers who will rely on clear, regular and systematic insight updates which provide a clear performance narrative detailing the whys as well as the what’s.
- Responsible for designing & delivering marketing insights solutions.
- Integrate Brand tracking & brand equity metrics and its relevance into wider marketing and commercial performance reporting.
- Embed econometrics modelling with an effective frequency to support investment decision making.
- Share of search data tracking and reporting including relevant competitor and market insight.
- Support engagement & content teams with analysis and reporting to support investment decisions.
- Provide stakeholders & decision makers with regular performance narrative updates, highlighting issues, challenges & opportunities.
- Development of self-serve reporting tools and automated reporting bringing knowledge of the best tools available to the role.
- Support the development and integration of an effective attribution model.
- Support & facilitate planning & budget forecast by providing key insight.
- Proven experience of marketing insight analysis and reporting specifically in marketing effectiveness and customers journeys (required)
- Strong analytics mindset – applying techniques to answer business questions (required)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, with an ability to transform, analyse and present data for use in decision making (required)
- A strong foundation in querying data with SQL, PPT and PowerBI (or an equivalent data visualisation tool) (required)
- Experience of developing and integrating attribution models (required)
- Experience of working closely with key insights partners and agencies including Google (required)
- Previous experience of pioneering new techniques and models (required)
- Experience presenting complex solutions and insight to senior leadership audience (required)
- Initiative taker with keen interest in latest measurement and tracking trends and developments (required)
- An ability to use data as a means of storytelling, communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences (required)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time appropriately while under pressure (required)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner (required)
