Office Assistant
As our Office Assistant, you'll help create an exceptional workplace experience for everyone who walks through our doors. You'll be the friendly face of the office, ensuring our workspace is welcoming, organised, and running smoothly day to day. From supporting office operations and coordinating with vendors to helping deliver engaging team events and onboarding new joiners, you'll play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive environment where our people can do their best work. Working closely with the Office Manager, you'll bring energy, initiative, and a proactive approach to keeping our office connected, efficient, and a great place to be.
- Greet visitors and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage incoming calls, mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain a tidy and organised front desk and reception area.
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the office environment.
- Coordinate meeting room setups and general workspace organisation.
- Support health and safety practices in the office.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers (cleaning, maintenance, catering, etc.).
- Monitor office supply levels and reorder as necessary.
- Ensure timely resolution of facilities-related issues.
- Assist with the planning and execution of in-office events, celebrations, and staff engagement initiatives.
- Help foster a positive and inclusive office culture.
- Manage internal office-related requests from staff.
- Support the Office Manager with administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects.
- Maintain office documentation and assist with onboarding setup for new hires.
- Previous experience in an office assistant, front desk, or administrative support role (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (required).
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail (required).
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment (required).
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to support a dynamic team (required).
- Comfortable being fully office-based in London 5 days per week (required).
