Systems Administrator
As our Systems Administrator, you'll be the go-to person for all things IT at Growth Leads. From setting up laptops for new starters to managing access across our systems and keeping our office tech running smoothly, you'll play a central role in keeping the business operational and secure. - Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for new employees
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across internal systems and tools
- Grant, modify, and revoke access to applications, networks, and shared resources
- Maintain accurate records of user accounts, licenses, and permissions
- Assist with IT asset management, including tracking and inventory of devices
- Handle the full technical side of employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Automate onboarding/offboarding workflows where possible to improve efficiency
- Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries and issues
- Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and business applications
- Maintain office equipment such as printers, meeting room tech, and peripherals
- Monitor and support network connectivity (Wi-Fi, VPN, basic infrastructure)
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and maintenance tasks
- Administer and maintain collaboration platforms including Atlassian (Jira and Confluence) and Teamwork.com
- Manage user provisioning, permissions, and licence assignments across collaboration tools
- Support configuration, integrations, and day-to-day administration of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
- Assist teams with tool-related queries, onboarding to platforms, and best practice guidance
- Ensure compliance with security policies and access control procedures
- Enforce IT policies and security standards across users, devices, and systems
- Assist with cybersecurity practices (e.g. MFA setup, phishing awareness)
- Promote and support adherence to company security practices
- Provide clear guidance and training to employees on systems and tools
- Document common issues and solutions to build and improve internal knowledge bases
- Support implementation of new tools, systems, or IT processes
- Collaborate with vendors or external IT providers
- Work closely with the Board, HR, and Tech teams on cross-functional initiatives
- Proven experience in an IT support, sysadmin, or similar hands-on technical role
- Solid knowledge of macOS and/or Windows device management
- Experience managing user accounts and access in tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Atlassian (Jira and Confluence), Teamwork.com or similar platforms
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
- Understanding of security best practices, including MFA and access control
- Strong communication skills — able to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical colleagues
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple requests at once
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with a drive to improve processes and documentation
- High degree of integrity — this role carries significant trust responsibilities
