DevOps Engineer

This role is for a passionate DevOps Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take on a key role in a dynamic, fast-growing company. You will be responsible for planning, building, and maintaining infrastructure, improving deployment strategies and pipelines, and monitoring existing infrastructure. You will also create and maintain documentation, develop solutions for operational administration, and deploy applications via automation.
- Plan, build and maintain our infrastructure and always be on a constant lookout to improve our environment
- Work closely with developers to create and improve deployment strategies and pipelines
- Closely monitor our existing infrastructure and act if any abnormalities are found
- Create and maintain documentation of our internal systems
- Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
- Deploy applications via automation with configuration management tools
- Help define, document, evolve, and evangelize high engineering standards and best practices across multiple areas
- 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps or related role (required)
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft and Linux server administration (required)
- Proficient in version control using Git and GitFlow development models (required)
- Hands-on experience with configuration management and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet) (required)
- Skilled in building, administering, and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as TeamCity or Jenkins (required)
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP (required)
- Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) (required)
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform (required)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) (required)
- In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, OpenShift) (required)
- In-depth knowledge of kubernetes technologies (Helm, ArgoCD, AKS, Trafeik) (required)
- Strong networking fundamentals (required)
- Experience working with virtualized environments (required)
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., BASH, Python, PHP, Go) (required)
- Experience with log management and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Splunk) (required)
- Experience with developing github actions (required)
- Familiarity with deployment strategies and tools (e.g., Ansible, Github Actions, ArgoCD, Octopus Deploy) (required)
- Knowledge of message queueing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) (required)
- Understanding of in-memory data storage systems (e.g., Redis, Memcached) (required)
- Knowledge of web server and load balancer technologies (e.g., NginX, HAProxy) (required)
- Professional proficiency in English, verbal and written (required)
