Junior Pre-Event Trader (Soccer)

Description

As a Junior Pre-Event Trader (Soccer) at Novibet, you will be responsible for ensuring first-class sports offerings, giving customers an industry-leading experience. You will be researching and analyzing data, odds compiling, and risk management of a variety of domestic and international Soccer leagues.

Responsibilities
  • Compilation of odds both manually and automatically, using automated data feeds
  • Effective risk management of Soccer events so that optimum pre-event margin is achieved
  • Customer profiling both overall and on a bet-by-bet basis
  • Improve the performance of the trading tools
  • Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive industry-leading sports offering
  • Develop and manage data-driven, analytical tools for the creation of odds
  • Monitor, in a proactive manner, competitors’ offers and products.
  • Provide insight and suggest ways to increase competitiveness
  • Identify risks and take necessary actions to eliminate or minimize risks
Requirements
  • Working Experience in a relevant position is nice to have (nice-to-have)
  • Enthusiastic about soccer with a strong interest in and knowledge (required)
  • Good understanding of sports odds (required)
  • Great attention to detail and good analytical and numerical skills (required)
  • A sports enthusiast with a strong data and customer-focused mindset (required)
  • Able to cope with a fast-paced, challenging environment (required)
  • Strong computer skills with advanced MS Excel skills (required)
  • Possess a can-do attitude and be a team player (required)
  • Flexible to work on shift rotation 24/7 (required)
  • BSc in Mathematics / Physics / Engineering / Economics (required)
