Product Manager
This is our first Product Manager hire in Brazil, and it comes with real ownership. You will be the product voice for the entire Brazilian operation — covering Casino, Sportsbook, and PAM (player account management, onboarding, and regulatory compliance flows). Your job is to translate what the Brazilian market needs into a prioritized roadmap, and then influence our vertical product teams at HQ to build it. You won't manage a dev team directly. Instead, you'll work closely with the Country Manager to understand business priorities, conduct rigorous competitive analysis of the local market, and build compelling cases that earn your initiatives a place on each vertical's roadmap. This requires someone who leads through influence, not authority — and who thrives with independence. We have high aspirations for Brazil. As the market grows, so will the team. You'll be the person who defines what "great product" looks like for Novibet in Brazil — and the one who shapes the glocal product function as it scales. We call it glocal — global standards with local soul. Our Brazil team isn't a satellite office executing instructions from HQ. It's a strategic hub with real decision-making power. The Product Manager is central to that: you represent the Brazilian player inside Novibet, and you represent Novibet's product ambitions to the Brazilian market.
- Own the Brazil product roadmap
- Define and maintain a unified product roadmap for the Brazilian market spanning Casino, Sportsbook, and PAM
- Serve as the product lens to the Country Manager — translating commercial objectives and regulatory requirements into actionable product initiatives
- Prioritize ruthlessly based on player impact, business value, competitive urgency, and capacity reality
- Drive competitive intelligence
- Conduct regular, structured competitive analysis of the Brazilian iGaming landscape — Betano, Bet365, Superbet, Estrelabet, and emerging local operators
- Identify gaps and opportunities across product experience, content, payments, onboarding, and promotions
- Turn competitive insight into clear product recommendations with supporting evidence
- Influence without authority
- Partner with vertical Product Managers (Casino, Sportsbook, Platform) at HQ to champion Brazil-specific initiatives for inclusion in their roadmaps
- Build trust and credibility with engineering and product stakeholders through well-prepared briefs, clear requirements, and reliable follow-through
- Navigate the tension between local market needs and global product priorities with maturity and persistence
- Learn our product deeply and quickly
- Rapidly build fluency in Novibet's product stack, technical architecture, and delivery processes
- Understand the constraints and dependencies that shape what can be built and when
- Become the person in Brazil who can answer "why does our product work this way?" and "what should we change for this market?"
- Lay the foundation for growth
- Establish the processes, templates, and rituals that a growing glocal product team in Brazil will inherit
- Document market-specific product knowledge — regulatory nuances, payment preferences, UX expectations, content trends
- Be the benchmark for future glocal PM hires across other markets
- 3–5 years of product management experience in online casino, sports betting, or a closely related digital vertical (fintech, payments, digital entertainment) (required)
- Strong preference for candidates with online casino product experience — you understand slots, live casino, crash games, bonus mechanics, and player lifecycle (preferred)
- Deep familiarity with the Brazilian iGaming competitive landscape and player behavior (required)
- Fluent English (written and spoken) — you will communicate daily with international product and engineering teams (required)
- Fluent Portuguese (native or equivalent) (required)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams where you influence outcomes without direct authority over engineering resources (required)
- Analytical mindset — comfortable with data, KPIs, and building business cases (required)
- Based in São Paulo and willing to work from our office daily (required)
- Previous experience at a Tier-1 iGaming operator (nice-to-have)
- Experience with PAM/platform products — registration flows, KYC, responsible gambling, payment integrations (nice-to-have)
- Understanding of Brazilian iGaming regulation (Lei das Bets / Law 14,790) (nice-to-have)
- Experience working in a multi-market operator where local needs compete with global priorities (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with product prioritization frameworks (RICE, weighted scoring, opportunity scoring) (nice-to-have)
