Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the improvement of the test framework and testing infrastructure.
- Mentor QAE in test automation practices and best approaches.
- Perform regular code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
- Safeguard product quality through proactive testing and automation strategies.

- Promote automation excellence among the SDETs in Domain
Requirements
- 3+ years in SDET or automation engineering role
- Solid Python knowledge: OOP fundamentals, decorators, context managers, basic design patterns; writes readable, maintainable code
- API testing proficiency: REST basics, status codes, request/response validation, common auth flows (OAuth2, JWT); comfortable with httpx/requests
- gRPC fundamentals: understanding of proto definitions and Unary calls; ability to work with existing gRPC test clients and extend them
- Test reliability awareness: able to identify and investigate flaky tests, apply basic isolation techniques, follow established teardown and data cleanup patterns
- Confident pytest usage: fixtures, conftest, markers, parametrize; able to work within and contribute to an existing shared framework
- GitLab CI basics: running and troubleshooting jobs, reading pipeline logs, working with artifacts and environment variables
- Documentation: writes clear test cases and test plans, documents coverage for assigned components
- Web automation (Playwright/Selenium), POM pattern
- XRay/Jira: test case management, basic JQL
- ReportPortal: basic integration and launch analysis
- Experience with internal QA tooling or any developer-facing automation scripts
- Familiarity with web-gRPC or HTTP/2 concepts
- Basic exposure to performance testing (JMeter, Locust)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
