Software Engineer (Fullstack)
RedCore is building a new HR product from scratch! We are looking for a senior engineer who enjoys working closely with Product, takes ownership of architecture decisions, and can build scalable systems from the ground up. This is a hands-on role with real impact on product direction and technical foundations.
- Design, develop, and maintain a scalable product using .NET and React
- Build clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Optimise application performance, reliability, and security
- Design and maintain database structures in PostgreSQL
- Integrate third-party APIs and AI services
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
- Participate in Agile processes and continuous improvement
- 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack development using the latest .NET Core and React (TypeScript)
- Strong proficiency in ASP.NET Core and modern C#
- Strong experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL and ORM tools (EF Core)
- Hands-on experience designing and optimising database schemas and queries
- Experience with Docker and GCP/AWS-based deployments
- Experience building products from scratch in dynamic environments
- Solid understanding of REST API design principles
- Practical knowledge of unit and integration testing
- Strong understanding of security best practices and performance optimisation
- Experience designing scalable backend architectures
- Understanding of monitoring and observability best practices
- Production-based experience to work with AI agents and modern AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, Codex, etc.)
- Experience integrating AI services (e.g. OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Experience with Jira integration
