Software Engineer (Markup)
Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer specializing in Markup to join our team. This role involves creating landing pages of varying complexity, developing code following best practices and coding standards, and independently analyzing code to identify and implement necessary improvements. You will also be responsible for testing work across browsers and mobile devices, refactoring and optimizing code, and taking initiative to improve landing page templates.

Requirements
- Strong ability to write semantic, valid HTML5 code
- Proficiency in markup methodologies such as BEM
- Excellent knowledge of CSS3, including Flexbox, Grid, responsive, and cross-browser layouts
- Experience with preprocessors (Sass, Less, PostCSS)
- Familiarity with modern CSS tools (CSS Variables, Custom Properties)
- Skills in optimizing CSS performance (lazy-loading, minification, caching)
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript for working with dynamic content
- Proficiency in DOM manipulation
- Familiarity with popular libraries (e.g., jQuery, GSAP)
- Experience with build systems such as Webpack, Gulp, or Vite
- Proficient with Git, including key commands, branch management, and conflict resolution
- Ability to accurately convert designs from tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
- Minimum of 2 years working on projects (freelance experience counts)
- A portfolio showcasing completed projects with interactive and complex interface elements
- Understanding of development approaches for weaker devices (graceful degradation)
- Experience with CSS animations and animation libraries
- Skills in optimizing graphics and code for fast rendering
- Ability to deliver pixel-perfect work and identify discrepancies
- Skilled in identifying issues and finding effective solutions
- Efficiently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Open to learning and quickly adapting to new tools, workflows, and challenges
- Willingness to propose and implement improvements independently
