Procurement Specialist
Description
Playtech's Procurement unit is looking for a Procurement Specialist with a curious mindset and excellent communication skills. This role is a 1-year fixed-term contract. The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in the overall procurement department, communicating professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization and external contacts. The dynamic Procurement team plays a key role at the forefront of shaping and evolving the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist the IT Procurement Department in collecting, organizing and maintaining various supplier information (supplier map, supplier on – time delivery rating charts, various contracts, Due Diligence, Legal, Privacy and other documentation).
- Assist in evaluating component parts cost by developing cost analysis charts, supplier bid summary for the cost reduction activity.
- Assist in researching new suppliers for new projects and existing products.
- Assist and coordinates invoices payments between suppliers and Accounting department.
- Assist with negotiating vendors as necessary.
- Follows up with suppliers for late delivery and poor quality parts.
- Create procurement administration reports.
- Create purchase orders to suppliers.
- Assist with reports to finance.
- Track deliveries and communicate data centers globally.
- Working closely with infrastructure team of Playtech.
- Work with other group procurement specialists.
Requirements
- BSc in Economics or related discipline.
- Min. 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Accuracy and attention to details.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines.
- Ability to communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
