HR Automation Specialist (Workday)

Description

We are looking for a tech-savvy HR Automation Specialist (Workday) who will be the bridge between HR and IT, responsible for implementation, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our Workday HRIS platform.

Responsibilities
  • Formulate, build, test, and implement Workday Business Processes (BPs) across various modules (HCM, Recruitment, Onboarding, Compensation)
  • Design and maintain automated workflows, custom validations, and notifications.
  • Support end-to-end integration setups between Workday and other internal tools or ATS
  • Create complex custom reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and Dashboards to provide stakeholders and Talent Acquisition/HR leads with actionable metrics (Time to Fill, Cost per Hire, Turnover Rate)
  • Manage and audit Workday security groups, permissions, and domain security policies to guarantee strict data privacy compliance (GDPR/Local regulations)
  • Act as the Tier 2/3 technical support for HR team members and Hiring Managers; diagnose and resolve system bugs, configuration errors, or data mismatches
  • Review, test, and implement semi-annual Workday feature releases, identifying opportunities for further process automation
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in HRIS administration, system analysis, or HR automation, with at least 2+ years focused specifically on Workday (required)
  • Deep understanding of Workday Business Process Framework and Security configuration (required)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a sharp eye for detail. (required)
  • Ability to translate chaotic business needs into clean, logical automated workflows (required)
  • Advanced English for clear communication with international stakeholders and system documentation. (required)
  • Native Ukrainian/Russian (required)
  • Official Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Reporting, or Business Processes) (nice-to-have)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience (nice-to-have)
  • Basic knowledge of data manipulation or scripting (Excel formulas, XML, XSLT, or JSON logic) (nice-to-have)
  • Prior experience working within fast-paced tech or iGaming companies (nice-to-have)
