Match Operator/ Local Match Reporter

Description

The Production team within Content Operations collects, produces, and distributes sports data for pre-match, live, and post-match coverage. Our Production is set up globally across multiple locations including specialists who execute data collection. We deliver coverage for over 1 million matches annually across 93 different sports worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Cover games, makes VOIP telephone calls to Match Reporters in different countries
  • Updates match commentary provided by the match reporter directly in the computer system (MO interface)
  • Monitors results/information in the websites to check current match data
  • Ensures 100% accuracy of match data
  • Reports to superiors any unusual events in the match
  • Compliance to system messages and policies
  • Adherence on schedule (for pre-match and in match)
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisors and Managers from time to time
  • Cover games live at the venue
  • Provides accurate and timely information on the following: Correct fixture, venue and team names Kick-off time Percentage of spectators Jersey Colors Match play by Play information as it happens Any unusual events happening in the match
  • Provide photo of the scoreboard/score sheet
  • Arrives at the venue of the sporting event 1 hour before the kick-off
  • Answers call/query from the match operator
  • Make sure that 2 mobile phones with different networks (globe and smart/sun) are brought, working and with battery sufficiently charge
